OpenLeague gives team admins and players one shared place for the season. Use this guide to understand the main workflows once your team is created.

Roster management

  • Add players with names, jersey numbers, positions, and contact details.
  • Invite guardians, players, coaches, and volunteers to join the team workspace.
  • Keep emergency details limited to the admins who need them for team operations.

Scheduling and RSVPs

  • Create practices, games, meetings, and team events from the calendar.
  • Share date, time, location, opponent, and notes so everyone has the same plan.
  • Track GOING, NOT_GOING, and MAYBE responses before game day.

Communication

Use team and league communication tools for announcements, reminders, and targeted updates. Keep event-specific instructions on the event itself so players can find them later.

Practice planning

Coaches can build practice plans with drills and rink-board diagrams, then reference those plans from scheduled practices.

Recommended weekly rhythm

  1. Review the next seven days of events.
  2. Confirm venues and start times.
  3. Check RSVP gaps.
  4. Send one concise reminder with any uniform, arrival, or volunteer notes.
